Navigation help on the Cehenne Family web site

For those who are not used to navigate in web sites, here are a few lines that will show you the different features I’ve proposed in order to get around in the web site.

The main page
The entrance of the site, is like for a newspaper, the first page, the main page. The entire web site (an though the main page too) is bilingual English / French. You can switch in-between the two languages all along the site, clicking on the little flags. On the main page the flags are on top at the left of the title.

Like a book, the web site is divided in chapters (sections). Each sections has its little icon (for a good remembrance of where we are and where we go). From the main page you get directly into any section you want.

The main page is a quick resume of the whole web site. Are brought in the front and describe in a few lines a choice of readable articles. With each description comes an icon showing in which section the article is. You can get directly to the article clicking on the little button .

Then, in order to write to the webmaster (Christophe Narcy), click directly in the bottom of the page on the address “write to” and the computer will automatically open an new Email. You have this will to write all along the web site.

Resume :
From the main page you can :
· Switch from English to French web site and vice versa.
· Go directly to the different web site sections.
· Directly read the articles resumed in the main page.
· Write to the webmaster for a bad critic or a contribution to the web site.

The section pages
The web site section are almost always the same presentation. Regarding the way you got in the section you can be :
1. directly at the article you wanted to read.
2. or to the first article (if you’re at the who’s who section for example, you’re in a section welcome page) sort in the section.

You still have your beloved navigation banner (the one we’ve talk about in the main page) with the same capabilities, except going in the section, you already are (logic, isn’t it ?).

In the left, in the salmon margin, I’ve put some useful links that goes most of the time like this :
1. A list of the readable articles in the section.
2. Some navigational links.
For the article list, click directly on one of the article you want to read. For the article you’re actually reading, you can click directly to chapter that interests you (when there is chapters).
For the navigation links, you have the capability to switch into the other language version. You can switch either to the article you’re actually trying to decode in a foreign language, or switch to the main page.
You can also read the complete section in the sort order (most of the time sort by publishing date) clicking on the following or previous page links.

There is a head for each article, giving the author name of the article with a little button that’ll bring you to the who’s who section dealing with that person. If you want your little button on the site, please send your contribution (a little article for example). Then you’ll be a real site member. Hope to hear from you an too read you soon.

Resume :
In the sections you can :
· Go back to the main page (click on the web site logo on top or in the bottom of the page)
· Go directly to the other sections
· Surf in the section with the link in the salmon margin
· Know directly who wrote the article
